Feeding South Florida

Non-Perishable Food Drive

Feeding South Florida, a not-for-profit organization, empowers other South Florida residents to feed needy people and improve their lives. They do this by providing food and other grocery products; and by educating and engaging the community to fight hunger and poverty. In the spirit of Thanksgiving IAVI has assisted BJ's Wholesale Club & Feeding South Florida in providing food for Fort Lauderdale families in need.

Women in Distress

Domestic violence is a community-wide problem, affecting people from all socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds, as well as their children and families. Women In Distress of Broward County, Inc is the only nationally accredited, state-certified, full service domestic violence center serving Broward County. Women In Distress provides an environment that will help the victims recover from the traumatic effects of victimization and develop an understanding and awareness of the dynamics of domestic violence.

Cats Exclusive

"Cats Exclusive, a non-profit, 501©3 organization, is dedicated to helping our community - both people and felines alike. Over the past decade, our no-kill adoption center has helped find loving homes for more than 5,000 cats and kittens in our community. Cats Exclusive now offers many basic services that you would find at your local vet's office, including spaying/neutering, vaccines, and microchipping. And by utilizing our clinic, you're helping to support our cause."

Broward Outreach Center

Broward Outreach Centers, a division of Miami Rescue Mission, is a comprehensive Center providing a safe haven for homeless women, children and families in Broward County. This center provides the opportunity for mothers and children to live together as a family unit and not be separated due to housing restrictions. The center also offers a structure therapeutic environment for a homeless family, allowing them to rebuild their lives as a whole unit.

Adopt-A-Classroom

2003 - Present

Adopt-A-Classroom invites the community into the classroom in support of teachers and their students. By adopting a classroom, donors form partnerships with specific classrooms providing financial and moral support. The result is a meaningful contribution to education in which donors experience the impact of their efforts and celebrate in a classroom's success.
